This workshop is about the specific topics and tools that will make your singing jazzy, that is, bring jazz into your voice.<\/p>\n
You are a singer and have already had some experience in jazz. You may have attended our basic courses or sung standards elsewhere.<\/p>\n
Or you have many years of routine and have already developed a repertoire.<\/p>\n
Now you’ll want to dive deeper into the theme, creating different sounds to enhance phrasing and rhythm.<\/p>\n\n
We will work on different vocal sounds<\/b> and your expression<\/b> on different pieces.<\/p>\n
Your sound<\/b> is something very personal, nevertheless there is a wide color palette<\/b> available to your voice, which you may (re)get to know and explore.<\/p>\n
We look at the treatment of text and pronunciation<\/b> and explore how text treatment and phrasing can come together<\/b> to make a natural and grooving whole.<\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n Of course, it is also always about rhythm<\/b> and the very special phrasing in jazz<\/b>,triplet, as in swing, or binary, as in bossa, and about bringing the groove into your body and thus also into your voice.<\/b><\/p>\n And we venture into the freedom of varying melodies and experiencing the realm of improvisation<\/b> in a playful and joyful way.<\/p>\n There will be a piece given for you to prepare<\/strong>, also you can bring a song<\/strong> to work on in the masterclass<\/b> principle <\/span>and have the opportunity to implement what you have learned right away.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Friday, 18:00 – 21:00 <\/strong><\/span> max. 10 participants, minimum 7.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Bonus:
