In this one-day workshop, the focus is on intros and endings. It’s like flying: takeoff and landing are the most critical moments of the whole flight and therefore super important. And if you know for sure how to start your song and then communicate that to the band for sure, almost nothing can go wrong….<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

For whom:<\/span><\/h2>\n

For those who want to work on their stage presence for their performances and become more confident and relaxed when playing with a band.<\/span><\/p>\n

For this course, you should already have experience playing with a band and be sure to feel where the band is in the chorus. If we don’t know you yet, we’d like to get an idea of your progress through audio material.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    What are the options for starting a piece? How do I end my song?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    What effect do the different options have, when do I use what?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    How do I communicate with the instrumentalists, what does “the band” need from me?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    How does “count in” work? and then…oops, too fast\/too slow – can I correct the band?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    How do I improve my stage presence and performance?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The jam session – my piece should work right off the bat with unknown instrumentalists. What do I have to do, what is definitely not possible?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    You prepare a song and send us your lead sheet at least two weeks before the course. Get in touch if you want to sing a song but don’t have the sheet music to go with it.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
